Mitch Keller, a top pitching prospect for the Pittsburgh Pirates, had an impressive outing as he pitched seven innings giving up 2 runs in a 4-2 Marauders win over St. Lucie tonight.
Tebow finished the night 0-3 with a sacrifice bunt that he almost beat out, a base reached on a forceout and 2 strikeouts.
The Marauders struck first with a 4 run third inning. That turned out to be all they needed as St. Lucie scored runs in the sixth and seventh inning.
With two out in the ninth, Peter Alonso got hit by a pitch which brought up Tebow as the tying run at the plate. He struck out on a curve ball to end the game.
The Mets continue their series with the Marauders tomorrow night in St. Lucie. First pitch is scheduled for 6:30 Eastern.
